Mr. Georges Younes
Mr. Georges Younes is a Research Scientist at the Department of Surgery at HMC. He leads the development and implementation of a next-generation robotic-assisted surgery simulator, collaboratively with the American University of Beirut and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Georges's research focuses on physically-based simulation, scientific visualization, computer graphics and vision, virtual reality, and mixed reality. Prior to joining HMC, he worked for five and a half years at Qatar Science & Technology Park/Qatar Foundation as a Research Officer, and for four years at the American University of Beirut as a Research Assistant and Assistant Instructor.
